Anthony J. Caltabilota CFP, CDFA, CLU, EA

Anthony Caltabilota is the founder and President of Calta Tax & Financial Services, LLC located in Hazlet, NJ. This independent financial planning and tax preparation firm has been around since 2003 and focuses primarily on corporate and individual taxation planning needs for a diverse array of clients.

Anthony graduated from Rutgers University in 1995 with a Bachelors of Science in Finance. He also majored in English as well. During his Junior and Senior years, Anthony was a Resident Adviser (RA), and was also an internal Vice President and Founding Father of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.

Throughout his post-graduate years, Anthony also became a Certified Financial Planner in 2000, a Chartered Life Underwriter in 2001, an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service in 2002, and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst in 2009. Anthony was able to gain a tremendous amount of experience after graduating college, beginning as a Junior Vice President in the Investment Credit Analyst department at Chemical Bank in New York City from 1995-1997. He then went on to Gulf International Bank where he was Vice President in the Investment Credit Analyst Department for just over a year. From 1998-2002 Anthony worked at H.D Vest Investment Securities, Inc. in Hazlet, NJ where he worked as a Financial Planner and Tax Accountant with the BTS Financial Consultants. It was from here that he started his own practice and where he still is today at Calta Tax and Financial Services, LLC in Hazlet, NJ.

A few accolades and achievements worth mentioning include being a featured guest on News 12 NJ “It’s Your Money Show” where he discussed different tax and investment tips. He was also an educator and adjunct faculty member at Farleigh Dickinson University’s Division of Continuing and Graduate Studies in the CFP approved certificate program. Anthony is personally involved with the American Red Cross and spent 3 weeks in Louisiana assisting directly with the Katrina relief effort in 2005

The greatest joy in Anthony’s life is spending time with his two daughters, Jamie and Giavanna. An avid sports fan, he enjoys watching and attending sporting events, especially cheering on the sidelines at his children’s games. He is proud to call himself a “soccer dad”. Anthony’s other interests include fitness and working out, gardening and vacationing with his family.
